Local Minor Illness Service North East North Cumbria – Remember if you receive and electronic referral from a GP or NHS 111 for a minor illness, you can claim for the consultation if it has been transferred to the local minor illness service. DO NOT reject the referral. Claiming for both services is allowed, as you are directing to the appropriate service. This also ensure you receive the funding for the products you have supplied.
If the patient walks in for with a minor illness then you can ONLY claim the local minor illness service.
